Your class assignments are to be completed in this order. It would be advised not to move ahead with the assignments until they are assigned. Certain classes teach methods of completing these assignments in a ways that are used in modern web design shops.

All assignment files are to be placed into your assignments folder on your website.

0 The client survey

Please create an html page called client.html in your homework folder and copy and paste these questions into the page.

1 Business Research & Project Charter

Research the type of business you will be building the website for. Describe the business values, customers, partners, and business model. Describe how your site will help the business accomplish their online goals. Define a framework for your project, its limitations and objectives.

2.1 Create logo thumbnails, communication brief

Create a rough logo design on paper, hand in the paper. Demonstrate the ability to conceptualize ideas in a visual format and demonstrate an ability to design.

2.2 Create a vector logo

To present your final logo, in full colour as a vector graphic. To demonstrate your understanding of the process of design from start to finish.

3 Sitemap and Website Wire frame

To create a wire frame of your future website. To define a site map, and by doing that define your navigation structure.

4 Website Mockup

Create a visually striking mockup that encapsulates your site as described in your communication brief. Work from the website wire frames to create a design based on a structure that you previously set up.

5 Skeleton site

Create your final site without real content. Ensure the HTML validates and Java Script behaviours work correctly

6 Final Project

To show that you understand all that you learned during the course. To be the sum of all assignments brought together to produce your website
